The agreement between you and Royal Preps — what your subscription includes, how the content may be used, and where our responsibility ends.
Welcome to Royal Preps, an online revision platform for doctors, medical graduates and senior medical students preparing for postgraduate examinations. Use of this site is conditional on accepting these terms and conditions, so please read them carefully and make sure you understand them before you use the platform.
These terms apply to all services provided by Royal Preps. If you do not agree to be bound by them, please do not use this website.
Terms may change over time. The version that applies to you is the one in force and accepted at the point you subscribe. The website and the subscription process are provided in English only. If you have a question about these terms, contact us at legal@royal-preps.com.
The price of each Royal Preps subscription is shown on the website before you purchase. If you pay from an account held in another currency, your card provider will apply their own exchange rate to the transaction.
Free trials run for seven days on the bank you select and end automatically unless you choose to subscribe. Paid subscriptions run for the term shown at checkout and renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Because access to the full question bank is granted immediately, cancellation after your subscription has started is at our discretion and may be subject to a cancellation charge. You accept that, given the nature of the service, refunds are not normally available once access has begun.
By using Royal Preps, whether as a registered or unregistered visitor, you indicate that you accept these terms and agree to abide by them.
Accounts are personal to the subscriber and are for their sole, individual revision. Passwords and login details must not be passed to anyone else. Where this is not respected we may take action, including immediate termination of the subscription without refund.
If you use or attempt to use the service for any purpose other than personal revision — including hacking or otherwise compromising the security or functionality of the platform — your account will be terminated and you may be liable for damages and further legal action.
While we aim to keep the platform available at all times, access may be restricted for maintenance or upgrades, or interrupted by technical faults. We resolve these as quickly as we can but cannot accept responsibility for any loss resulting from downtime. Where the platform is unavailable for a prolonged period, we will extend affected accounts by the equivalent time on request.
Royal Preps is optimised for current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers. Older devices or unsupported browsers may offer restricted functionality.
For the convenience of subscribers, Royal Preps links to external websites, guidelines and formularies. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement or approval of that site or its contents, which are independent of Royal Preps and outside our control. We accept no responsibility for their content or for any loss arising from their use.
The Royal Preps platform is copyright protected. Its content, design, layout, databases and graphics must not be reproduced or stored in any form or by any means, nor presented to a public gathering.
You may use the material only for your own personal, non-commercial revision, provided it remains unchanged and copyright notices are intact. All rights not expressly granted in these terms or in a written licence remain reserved.
Royal Preps is provided as a revision resource and makes no representation, express or implied, that drug doses or management pathways shown on the platform are correct for clinical use. Users must check a recognised formulary and current national guidance before prescribing.
While reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy, to the fullest extent permitted by law the material on this website is provided without guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its correctness, reliability or usefulness. Our questions reflect the style and standard of the relevant examinations, but we are not affiliated with any examining body and cannot guarantee a pass or a particular score.
Medical knowledge evolves continually and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Royal Preps does not accept responsibility for errors or for the misuse or misapplication of material on the platform.
In no event shall our total liability to any user, for all claims combined, exceed the amount that user has paid us for the subscription concerned.
All personal data collected by Royal Preps is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using this site you consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with that policy.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Royal Preps at our principal place of business. We may bring proceedings for a breach in any relevant jurisdiction, and these terms do not affect your statutory rights.
